        Ants

        There are over 50 types of ants in the UK, but by far the most common and most likely to be an issue in and around your property is the Black Garden Ant (Lasuis Niger). The Black Garden ant will eat other insects, nectar and honeydew (the secretions made by aphids), but its liking for sugary substances is what brings it into our homes, places of leisure and work places.

        The colonies of this species average around 4,000 to 7,000 and in some circumstances can be even higher!. A quick online search will reveal all manner of alarming and quite frankly dangerous ways to deal with a colonies of ants.
